Gamma Squad returned from their mission and approached the nexus of computers where Superboy and Miss Martian were standing. Superboy turned to face them.

Robin aka Tim Drake, Lagoon Boy aka La'Gann, Static aka Virgil Hawkins, Blue Beetle aka Jaimie Reyes and Impulse aka Bart Allen looked at each other, looking incredibly embarrassed. Robin, being the leader of the squad, sighed. "Parasite escaped."
"Yeah, and kicked our butts. It was so mode!" whined Impulse.

“We have had word from Green Lantern that there is a mother and child in an old abandoned warehouse that has collapsed. The Justice League is working on a case so we need you to rescue them. Red Arrow will be joining you as there is still a need for precaution on the mole. I am sending Robin the location now. Batman out.”
The team were standing round the large screen where Batman’s face was being projected. Another day, another mission. It was a particularly foggy day near Mt. Justice and the weather was reflected in the mood of the team. No-one had any sleep for some unknown reason

He held in his hands his Kid Flash costume. It almost felt heavy in his hands. Retiring had been his idea, and to do that he had to give up the costume and all that came with it.
